Mint Tower Capital Management was founded in 2010 by a team of four highly experienced former ABN AMRO derivatives traders.
Our Story
The first European options exchange was established in Amsterdam on 4 April 1978. It quickly grew into the European centre for options trading, thereby attracting talented professionals globally and serving as a breeding ground for new talent for the financial industry.
This period saw the launch of several very successful trading and arbitrage firms. The four founders of Mint Tower Capital Management and the majority of the senior members of the team come from the same talent pool. At the end of the 1990s, they worked together in the Global Equity Derivatives department of ABN AMRO Bank N.V.
At the end of 2010, the Mint Tower Arbitrage Fund was launched. In the recent years, Mint Tower Capital Management has grown into a fund employing 30 specialists in Amsterdam. The steady growth of the assets under management has been the result of positive performance every year since inception with very low volatility.
